Beautiful exposition in Lausanne about canadian impressionism! I love these snowy landscapes! Here is a painting of Lawrence S. Harris, 1916. This painter was a member of the Group of Seven, a canadian impressionist movement who want to stand out from the french movement by painting the grandiose landscapes of Canada in a daring way, with bright colors, here in very strong light contrast too. The further you get from the painting, the more beautiful it is!
