Not perfect

So I woke up still with some fever but feeling much better. I spent some time with the family and decided I feel well enough to catch up with the work.

30 minutes in, electricity went off. Laptop battery lasted another half an hour.

So... fever, sick kids, no electricity for the whole day (it went back on at 8pm). It’s worth mentioning our whole house runs on electricity, including heating.

I think someone is testing us.

This week is far from perfect. And I hate when such things happen. I decided to take the time and read the rest of the “Perfectionism” book. There’s a lot of painful truths there.
