By the time I arrived at the BART parking lot near home, it was pretty sparse. A lot of commuters were already staying home or had quickly evacuated the city by then. I noticed the large heavy clouds hanging low in the sky, almost like those alien spaceships hovering over the world in the movie Independence Day.
