It's funny how you could practice something for over 10 years and still make mistakes... ;-)
I've got first sourdough from my aunt like in 2007 and started baking bread since then. It's really easy job. I ignore all this stuff and ideas of feeding sourdough and so on, and just keep it in the fridge and bake bread at least once in 4 weeks. And it works for 13 years now. And I'd say my bread is the best even my mum and some other person do it "the same way" :D
And even it's easy like flour, water, sourdough, salt and some bran and seeds, I still keep forgetting either about salt, or putting aside a "new" sourdough before adding seeds or, like in this case, about seeds and bran ;-) I've added some on the top later on, but it's not the same. Still better than forgetting about salt ;-)
And having freshly baked bread for a breakfast makes the day.
