On March 13, the Swiss Federal Council declared the extraordinary situation for our country due to the Corona virus. Since that day, many things changed - we had to work and to go to school at home, restaurants, shops and event location had to close, people lost their work, especially endangered people were lonely, on the other hand solidarity between people grew, many (including me) started to buy food and other stuff locally, many of us had more time for family, new hobbies, outdoor activities, etc. because of the 'missing' way to work.
Since that March 13, we got back many of our rights, I went to work at school again - but there is some things that remained: On March 13 we immediately decided to take a walk (at least 1 hour) every day, and except for the days we went out with the bikes we really did that. We realized soon that we were always walking on the same few paths. That changed dramatically when we decided to draw a line on every hiked path, so we felt challenged to be able to draw some new lines every evening.
Yesterday, the Swiss Federal Council declared the end of the extraordinary situation. We will of course continue with our evening walks, but there are just no unwalked paths in the closer surroundings to where we live so I decided that today is the day to take a pic of the map :-)
