agacper LAVENDER FLOWER SYRUP :-)
Ingredients:
- a glass of fresh lavender flowers
- 1 liter of water
- 1 kg of sugar
- the juice of 3 lemons
Execution:
Lavender flowers pour two glasses of boiling water, cover and let the infusion cool. Strain through a thick strainer or gauze. The flowers will turn pale blue as they give the color and aroma to the brew.
Pour 1 kg of sugar into the remaining water, boil it, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Add lavender infusion and juice squeezed from three lemons to the syrup (lemon juice will enhance the color of the syrup). Bring to a boil.
Pour boiling lavender syrup into scalded jars, screw on and turn upside down.
