Last night Melbourne got hit with a fairly severe storm - it originally looked like a fast moving but small squall line on the radar, so I decided to stay in the office and watch it head towards us. Ultimately it slowed down as it approached the bay, and grew in size. I stayed in the office for about 5 or so more minutes after this shot and then made the call to head to the station after all, arriving at Southern Cross just before it started raining.
I was right, it was over fairly quickly, but the icy wind and rain made it a very cold walk home.
mrmm2017 Impressive capture of both nature and city.
