star magnolia

So, my first camera upload was that quick snap of the cat yesterday, but today I drove over to the star magnolia trees in the library parking lot and took about 100 pictures in an attempt to learn my camera. I did learn a lot, but also learned how far I have to go. This blossom was one of my favorites. It poured rain and I thought it would get dark before I could take any pictures at all, but the rain on the blossoms ended up looking rather nice.
