9:30pm on Saturday night, I received an sms to say that I was considered a close contact of a covid case, and that I had to come in to be tested.
Walked over to the testing site and joined the line just before 1pm.
This was about 2 hours later. We'd progressed maybe 100m in that time. The line went around the corner to the left, up around the alleyway, and then the people to my right were nearish the front.
Those people had been waiting since 9:30am/10am.
I finally got tested right on 5pm. They closed the line off about 10 people after me, so it's a good thing I got there when I did.
It was a long day. And I am still waiting for the yay or nay message to say whether I'm allowed outside or not.
