Young Grey Heron

The young Heron was waiting for me this morning almost at the entrance, she gets closer to the entrance every time. I had to walk her back a fair bit today. It must look a bit strange walking a Heron. When we got a bit further in I started to feed her. She had peace to eat today with no interruptions.

Bruce If she could, she'd probably wave good-bye each time :-)

craig She has learned that when I turn her fish box over to pour out excess water that there is no more left. When I put the lid on the box she often flies off, calling in flight!
