Turtles riding bikes must drive slowly!

Langsam = slow. Or does it mean that turtles on bikes are slow? Or that we need to walk slowly so turtles on bikes won't hit us? Or that it is about time for turtles to wear helmets when riding a bike? (in German we say 'es wird langsam Zeit...' which is not really translatable to english. something like 'it is slowly going to be time to...). Or that they should ride a bike in order to be faster? And why is there a cross?
