craig I have never seen one doing it although I have heard that they sometimes do. It was amazing to see her manipulate it with her beak then just swallow it. I have been cutting her fish into small bits to make it easy for her🤣🤣
Bruce Guess you won't be needing to cut up her fish anymore 😅. BTW, the Great Blue Heron's here have started building their nests already :-).
craig The Grays breed early over here usually about now. I am wondering if my Heron may have a nest somewhere in the middle of the loch. I have not seen the male and her at the same time for a while now. She also ate quite a lot yesterday with her rat and my fish. I may never know.
