Young Grey Heron

The young Heron spotted me early and flew over to the grass to meet me. She was half way through her fish when she suddenly took off. Only then did I see that the male Heron had been about to join us. She chased it half way up the loch squawking all the way. She then flew back to an area in the water at the side of the loch to get the rest of her fish. She clearly is not going to share her fish!
