Again the young heron was nowhere to be seen first thing this morning so I popped back up a couple of hours later. This time she flew over the viewing platform and landed in the flooded area in front of it. I gave her her fish which she was much more keen to eat today. After I had finished she jumped up onto the platform fence. A lady came round with, I assume her grandchild in a buggy and pulled out a bag of bread. I dreaded it as I had got her weaned off bread a while ago. The gulls all swooped on the bread but I was pleased to see that she ignored it and turned round to look up the loch.
I think I will leave it until mid morning to go up to the loch now.
