I had just about reached the loch this morning when the young Heron flew towards me and landed at my feet. I started feeding her and had got quite a way through her fish (she is eating more in the morning just now and taking it back to the nest I think). I spotted a man coming round the loch towards us with his dog, at at that stage I didn't realise he was an idiot. The dog ran towards the young one snarling and barking. The young one took off and flew towards the drainage area with the dog chasing her. When I looked over towards the man who was up the hill, he appeared to be laughing. The dog soon lost interest and ran up to the fool on the hill. I just wandered over to the drainage area where the young one was waiting. She was none the worse and finished her fish. I went back after lunch with a couple of Mackerel filets and she had them as well.
Bruce It’s unfortunate there are individuals who have no respect for animals, or birds, or for others that do. If karma is real, I’d like to believe that such people will be reincarnated as cockroaches in their next life 😅😊
