The young one flew over to the grass this morning. She had her share of the sardines and flew back to the water's edge and got some more. She was joined by the older female who had a share as well. The crows had sardine today as well and seemed to enjoy it.
This afternoon the young one landed right in front of me amongst the picnickers and sun bathers. I focused completely on the young one but heard a few oohs and Ahs! She had a fair bit then flew of to the centre of the loch. I made my way round the loch and heard the frantic cries of the male. He landed on a submerged log but was frightened to fly over as there were people around. I was about to walk to the clearing when he flew over. He got his share then headed home!
