In transit

Arrived at the airport before 3am. My friend is an Emirates gold member so we got priority access to checking in, access to the lounge, and boarding.

The first flight (Melbourne to Dubai) was pretty good. It was long - 14 hours. I think I dozed once or twice. We arrived somewhat late into Dubai and had to rush for our connecting flight. We ended up leaving Dubai an hour late though.

Landed at Heathrow and made it to London (finally!). Operating off about 2 hours sleep from Tuesday morning through to Thursday morning. But we made it!
