I meant to post this yesterday. There were 3 heron near the entrance to the park, the little female (pictured) the adult male and the nervous male. Plus loads of crows, the gull and the 2 juvenile gulls. I fed them all then made my way to the clearing. Before I got there I heard the distinctive sound of a very young heron and spotted it at the edge of the water. I threw it some fish, fully expecting it to fly off, but it ate it and was looking over for more. I gave it quite a lot but kept a bit back for the moorhen. I then made myway round. I saw the moorhen but could not get any fish to it as the crows were too quick. She eventually gave up and swam off.
