A pretty straightforward morning the 5 heron met me at the entrance to the park (the shot today is the little female) and I caught the adult male at the clearing. The crows are getting more daring and getting very close to the heron to get the fish if they drop it. One actually flew directly at a heron glanced off it, in it' shock or disbelief the heron dropped the fish which the crow grabbed. Not sure if it was meant or just an opportunistic accident. It certainly didn't try again.
On leaving I saw two heron flying towards the shore and wonder if the two I wasn't too sure of are just up for a feed from somewhere else?
