Sunrise Over Donner Lake

I'm still alive. I've been busy with life and pursuing work as a photographer. It's been difficult, but I knew it would be from the beginning. One thing I've learned is that successful photographers are really good at marketing themselves (good social skills and the ability to network). How you present and showcase the best of your work is of course second. Though it's been rough, the people I've met and the experiences I've had make it all worth it.

I enjoyed taking this shot early this morning with a new friend (who happens to live down the street from me) who is also a great photographer. This picture gave me a feeling that it'll be a good friendship.
