vera Thank you very much tigg for the critique and how delicate you are! I asked for it and I'm ready to receive ;-) I think you're right with this damn branch! I took the photo from the bottom because I wanted the blue sky in the background. I was already on tiptoe ... and I also gave up the thought to climb the tree because of my neighbours, who already should take me for a loony with my camera ... ;-)))

tigg The detail on the blossom is lovely; might lifting the camera higher, looking down on the blossom, have placed the branch running left to right in a less prominent position?It would not cut the photo in 2. I must say I feel slightly uncomfortable typing this comment ....
