120mr Thank you! Nice to know it :) At first the tiles had some texture, so cracks had the aestethic purpose. I stand here in the middle of the hall (it's a part of 1892 tenement house staircase). Most people were walking further away form the walls, and due to wear the tiles lost theirs texture. So you are a little bit right ;) Thanks for asking ^^
jazzie Oh, that's funny, so they were made in a used look, but the look disappeared due to use 😄

jazzie I like this pic a lot! Do you know why the tiles are more broken towards the top of the picture? Was it done that way on purpose, or was it due to wear and tear? It looks great anyway!
