Aarburg Schloss

This is a Swiss castle I have passed many times on the train en route to Zurich airport. Today I finally had the opportunity to take a photograph. The original keep is from around 1200 and it has been extended over the centuries, in the late 19th it became a prison and today I understand it is still a "Youth Home" It is the river Aare which flows by, the same river that runs out of Thunersee.
