Bartosz This is a photo of the cinema just before heading in for the screening, and here are my thoughts on the movie Hamnet:

"I don't know what influenced it the most, whether it was the music, the direction, the acting, or Shakespeare's own words at the end. In any case, the entire film was building towards an emotional catharsis for me. It’s rare, very rare, for me to leave a cinema literally shaking.

Just a reflection: that’s the beauty of cinema, you never know how a particular film will affect you. That’s why it’s often not worth worrying about opinions, negative or positive, and better to just see it for yourself. I’ve been calmly reading some of the criticisms now, and I even agree with some of them, but what does it matter when it hit me right in the heart and I experienced the film the way I did. I recommend it with all my heart."
