Our recent kitchen remodel included open-shelves which allows easy, quick access to dinnerware & cookware, but the best part is that our Boleslawiec pottery is now displayed in a fashion in which it deserves ... as art. This image is of an apple baker (which I use as a butter dish) sitting on a small saucer. Once visitors adjust to my open kitchen, they instantly become aware that basically no two of my chosen pottery patterns match. I rely soley on the blue color glaze to bring charm & order to our menagerie of pieces.
