Practice makes progress

Okay, I have to be honest. I work at cameras store for almost five and half years. Since then I've been to countless scholarships (3-4 every year), with lots of practice shootouts... but I have always considered myself a salesman and told everyone I'm not a photographer. Let's face it now: I am a photographer. I do it, I love it, I will do it in the future. I'm making my living because I love photography gear, technology and almost every electronic device (sadly, most electronic devices does not reciprocate that love). And because of tookapic I've started developing photos, started paying attention to what I'm doing, started taking photos daily, developing them daily (well, that one does not work perfectly... yet!) and... doing lots of things for myself that I was too lazy before to start. And during that particular scholarship, during Nikons "portrait and managing light" shootout practice with Marek Dziedzic, for the first time I realized the amount of knowledge gained there is incredible. I have it all in my head, and if I practice, it will pay off.
