I was in downtown Birmingham looking for interesting things to photograph while waiting for my son to finish violin lessons, and came across this man sitting at the side of the street. After twenty minutes of conversation, I asked if I could take his photograph, and departed.

Steve Karg I really had to go out of my comfort zone to ask if I could take Michael's portrait. I remember reading the post for the tookapic theme week about strangers that referenced the 100 stranger project, which I searched on the internet read about.
