Margie Thank you! I am going to have to figure out how to operate my camera without gloves and stay warm
bvphotosnap Wow, that ice is awesome and the water looks so silky. Beautifully captured! Did you have to use a tripod?
Margie
Thank you. There actually was a lot of light even though partly cloudy and the waves were moving fast. No tripod and just knelt down and used self timer. Taken at 100 ISO st 1/500.
I have no idea why my info is not added when I post a photo on Tookapic.

I really love that silkiness!
When I had problems of no exif data attached to my uploaded images it was because I had to do a fresh install of photoshop on the upgraded computer. It was in there when I was saving that I found where to attach the exif data with the image. There was a question about that lately, tookapic.com/talks/354-turning... I don't remember what program you use but I hope this helps ☺
Margie Thanks for the info. It randomly attached it yesterday. I don't have PS and usually use LR and/or sometimes Picasa. I will continue to check my settings.

Wow
This is beautiful
Margie Thank you so much!
Michael Gatton Indeed a beautiful image, the ripples in the water with their color variations and texture (like mercury, almost) along with the unique form of the ice - so cool (no pun intended).
Margie Thank you, Michael. A moment frozen in time. (no pun intended)
Chris G This is sooo beautiful. Sorry about your hands, but the photo seems to have been worth it.
