Egyptian Gosling

No baby birds were harmed in the taking of this photo. Five little Egyptian goslings have appeared at the lake and are the most beautiful little balls of fluff I have ever seen. Mum and dad are watching over them carefully, if you can call sitting on them, 'watching them'.

Joe Fortin Lucky! My marshes and wetlands are still under ice. I can't wait to share my critters soon... I hope.

Kell It was a real surprise to see them so early. I think the weather warmed up a little and they hatched and now we are having another cold snap, poor babies. I'm hoping to see lots more this spring!
