noun Great pic! Take fun on Tookapic and good luck!

Hattie Day Thank you so much, best of luck with your endeavours on here too!

noun Thank you!

Paweł Kadysz Welcome to the community! I hope you'll have fun here. May I ask, why did you stop last time?

Hattie Day I'm not entirely sure looking back why I stopped the previous attempts. I think I generally just noticed a gradual decline in my image quality which was frustrating me, instead of taking the time to actually create good photographs I just seemed to snap something okay and 'make do' with it.

Also at the time I was still studying Photography at University and I was finding it tricky to balance photographs for the course and photographs for this personal project. Now I am a graduate I think I have entered a potentially interesting chapter in my life, with lots of new experiences and people and places to explore, so I've picked up the camera and am hoping (fingers crossed) I will document it...

Jesse Lind Sweet! Welcome and goodluck!

Hattie Day thank you :) good luck to you too, I love the colours and patterns in your feed so far, I'm definitely going to keep an eye out on how your project develops!

Jesse Lind Ya, I am getting kind of close to finishing, I am over 3 4ths of the way

Steve Karg I love your colorful photo! Welcome to the community!

I read your reply to @Paweł. It takes some discipline to shoot a photo every day, but even with a mobile phone camera, a non-interesting view of from your trained eye or digital darkroom could inspire others.

Hattie Day Thanks so much, yes I agree sometimes it is hard but I love looking back at the images that are either well thought out or completely caught me off guard at the time. I guess I am just striving to create meaningful images more than anything else. Thankfully right now I have a lot of spare time on my hands, being an unemployed graduate, so I can dedicate time to creating good work - who knows it may even strengthen my portfolio, making me a better candidate in job applications!

tigg I think there is always a danger in any walk of life when work and play meet - if you were so involved in the toil of your photography degree taking photographs for fun may well have just not been in your agenda. If this photo a day project is something you wish to achieve, you will have to compromise on quality now and again. I'm coming up to 4 years on Blipfoto, with quite a few 'will do' shots posted, but clearly I have 'the bug' as I have launched on this too. Enough; Good Luck!

Hattie Day Oh wow that must take some dedication tigg, congratulations! Indeed before I found it tricky to balance taking photographs for fun and taking photographs for my course as often the two lines would blur. However now I have a lot more free time on my hands (for now at least) so hopefully I will get into good habits and this will help me throughout the duration of this project!
