Hummingbird

So, this isn't the best photo because I'm still learning how to use my new lens. There's a hummingbird who always is flying around in my yard. I heard him today so I rushed out with my camera to try to get a good picture of him. The picture would have been better if he'd been in focus! If i'd had time to change the aperture it could have been better and I used manual focus but couldn't get it quite right... I'll get it better next time! I only had about 30 seconds to take this photo before he flew away. I do love the effect of all the branches though. So in the end this picture is not great, but not a total fail!
