I have never ever ever been as angry with a stranger as I was today. I had a great morning, started with waving to Martyna, who was leaving to work, eating a breakfast and taking some photos of @kingaroo applying make-up by the window, then a quick city session on my way to work... and after getting there, I met a customer wanting to play a little with GH5.
Aaaaand... I gave him the battery, set the camera to RAW+JPG Fine, told him I'm giving him my memory card so he could see the samples and I set RAW to take a look at the samples, and left him by Panasonic stand. He played for, like, fourty minutes, recording slow-mo videos, testing AF etc. - and he left while I was talking with another customer, I didn't even spot the moment. I went to the Panasonic, took my memory card, inserted it into my camera and shot a photo... and realised, that there are no other photos on the memory card.
That IDIOT has erased all photos from it, including mine.
And after using a few different recovery programs (AAAAND that's the reason, why I postponed uploading a photo from the day - I still hope there is an option to recover those files), it seems that he's done it not after using the camera, but in between. Or at the beginning.
And it wasn't the "FORMAT" option, it was "erase all photos", since I had some other folders besides standard DCIM (backup of yesterday's photos, for example), and they were untouched.
Man, it's the first time I'd like to hit somebody, hit somebody really hard. With that GH5 he had fun with. In the head.
Yeah, now after I wrote all this, I feel much better. And except that sad fact, I had quite a nice day with co-workers, then we had delicious birthday-pizza with my friend Doris, her sister, their friend and Martyna, then we went to Afera's place for a house-warming party, which went out of control a bit ;) and it's a photo of his nieghbours they share the balcony with.
Fisheye lens cap + FL-LM3 is a really wonderful combo. Best birthday gift combo ever. And the dog's name is explained in the photo title.
