mina juveler Thank you for the comment. The plan was to have focus on the plant in the foreground however I had only my phone with me and I couldn't come closer to the plant so it may be a not very good photo.
ponzu The frosted grass looks interesting. The plant in the foreground may have been interesting, too, but it's hard to tell because it is out of focus. The photo suffers from what is know as the double subject. The grass refuses to be just the background and is competing to be a subject in its own right. It's interesting that you right that your plan was to have the plant in focus. Usually you decide what your subject is (in this case, for you, the plant) and emphasize it, while trying to deemphasize the rest. Your iPhone 8 Plus has portrait mode. It does not always work on non-human subjects, but try it next time. It may be able to focus on the closest subject and blur out the backround. You also might have shot from a lower angle, to frame the interesting plant against the plain sky -- as opposed to the sharp (and in my opinion also interesting) grass.
Also, my advice is not to use the Tookapic watermark. It makes even the best photos hard to enjoy.

Thank you for the comment. The photo was taken in the portrait mode, however due to the plant location I wasn't able to come close enough to have the background blurred.
And the watermark was added by accident, thank for noticing it, I've removed it.
jazzie Great colors and light! It is for sure an interesting structure. When I look closely at your pic I can see that you focused on the background instead on the plants in the foreground. I would have expected the opposite, and a smaller depth of field in order to make a visible difference between foreground and background. Or maybe the structures of the background are even interesting enough to leave the foreground out?
