ponzu Very beautiful. I think smaller aperture would have been even better: sharper focus on the frost, and more leaves in focus.

Also, as I shoot closeups of little nature scenes I find, after the initial shot, I often notice and remove clutter. You know, the stuff we usually try cloning out or wish we could when we look at the photo in the editor later. I don't see anything wrong with that approach do you? In fact, many photographers have this approach to cloning out unwanted visual clutter: "If I could have physically removed it from the scene (like a piece of garbage on the ground), it's okay to clone out. If I could not (like a telegraph pole), then leave it alone." In this shot "Long way from home" I removed several twig and leaves that were distracting from my hero. In your shot, I might have removed the blade of grass that crosses the broad leaf at bottom left. But it is not a huge distraction, it is not ruining the shot. Just sharing something that I find useful. I wonder if anyone considers such manipulation of the found scene wrong.
