Urszula Stachowicz This is interesting - my mum used to buy it when I was young and my grandma used to bake it. :) But I never wondered about the name and the origin of it. The same was with WZ cake. :D

vividcolourfabric It's known only in Poland, Belarus, Ukraine and Russia. And, of course, by Jews since they made it. For me, being curious of different things is the only way to develop yourself. ;)
