Kazzi Changing the lens from a PRO one to the kit lens is painful.

vera Indeed... we become more demanding! 😬

Satoshi T Cool Les Dents-du-midi in Winter. Wonderful! After starting to use the PRO lens, you may be concerned about somewhat quality. But the goal is skiing ⛷, not to carry heavy lens itself.
Since the long zoom range is not necessary so much, I do not think it is necessary to bring that big and heavy 40-150PRO. Advice for you: 1)It is good to keep the contrast by cleaning lens before use. 2)In the case of backlight , I recommend to shield by hood or by your hand. 3)After return to your home, a little emphasize the contrast 😉

vera Hahaha! Yes! Skiing was the first goal! That's why I took only the little lens! But next time I'll take the 7-14mm. After using the 40-150PRO during some weeks, the 7-14mmm seems to me absolutely little and light. Question of relativity! And thanks for the good advices! I agree with you. 1) I didn't clean it before using, what a shame 😋 Next time I'll think of it! 2) I do it often with the 7-14mm, which is much more sensible in case of backlight. Here I didn't make it. I don't see that it was necessary... or? 3) Done for this pic and I think you're absolutely right, it's a way to make the pic to seem sharper 😊

craig I think this is a great shot! I think it is pretty sharp too!

vera Thank you very much Craig!

Danuta Amazing view, impressive, beautiful blue sky... the low ceiling looks like snow :)

vera Thank you Danuta! 😊
