Ross Cool pic, Craig, what's the story behind the statue? I thought it was a real person on first glance!

craig It is an Antony Gormley Statue. It is one of 6 which where displayed along the Water of Leith. Only 2 remain in situ the others are in storage as they were too expensive to maintain.

Marta That's good news😊 I can even see they've earned a huge Oscar for their achievement, the grateful birds are ready to hand out the award😉😀

craig :-) brilliant spring_ii I love it!

Marta Thanks😀 I know how important it is and I admire how you care about birds and nature. I live in the valley of the river Barycz, very close to beautiful Milicz Ponds, which is a real bird paradise. There are so many species to watch! The only reason I don't take pictures of them is that I'm terrible at it😉

craig You just need to practice! A fast shutter speed around 1/800 is a good starting point!

Bruce Great capture, Craig, and a great outcome. Hopefully it stays safe for a long time :-)

craig I think it was a build up over years, however they shouldn't be fishing so close to the jetty I may have to report anyone else I see.
