An Attempt

About 15km north of where I live - it was supposed to be clear and I figured if I can view the milky way from my house, 15km further away from the city and airport should be better. Right?

In theory.

In reality, it was overcast when I got there, and while it eventually cleared it was so hazy that the milky way was very hard to see, and then the moon rose! (You can see the moonlight starting to silhouette the clouds on the horizon)

Oh well, can only try again. :)
