Ian Prince Sacré @Ron ! Indeed, a Lotus! Maybe the very Seventies psychedelic green and the suede dashboard were the clues. There was only one with such a flat bonnet, I’m sure you’ll guess whuch one. Take a close look at the grill 😉

Mmm I think the « flat » slats in the bonnet means it’s a Lotus Elite Type 75 or 83. The Eclat, that looks almost the same and was based on the Elite, had deeper slats.
