What a long road we've been through. Not much time left. I'm torn between trying to build my life again. In new job, new car. Trying to bounce off the bottom. Knowing that Rudy is sick, but still not dealing with it. I know that the worst is still ahead of us. It's not just a cat. It's a helpless being. He doesn't complain. He's calm and sleepy.
