Day two of five at the Junior Olympics. Hot. One medal.
I shot this backlit because I have a million "normal" swim photos, and also because my daughter swam closest to side of the pool where the sun would be in front rather than behind me. I knew it would be challenging, but the effect is worth it. I edited the photo in Lightroom on my phone to lift the shadows and increase the contrast before handing it over to my wife for her Facebook brag post. I edited it again in the iPhone Photos app, again to lift the shadows and boost contrast. It looks great on the phone, but viewed on the computer screen it shows some processing artifacts. I will work on it some more in Lightroom to smooth it out, but I wanted to post something to Tookapic to revive my project. I don't know about one photo a day, but a few photos a month is better than none.
