la vecchia latteria di Monteggio

The old dairy of Monteggio was in use from 1889 to the beginning of the 20. century. Until they built a new road this narrow little, nowadays almost forgotten road was the 'main' road to Monteggio paese, the village. I remember that we used to drive on it many many times when I was a little child and I always wondered what this lonely house was - in this place where there is never any ray of sun, not even in summer time. I found out that it was the dairy building only few years ago when a new hiking path was opened with many informations about historic buildings and places along the way.
