The footbridge is suspended 136 m above the river ... it's still quite impressive and dizzying, especially on a windy day, it moves a lot 😁🤨😅 !!!
Farinet's body was found in the Salentze gorges at Saillon, that's why it takes his name.
Joseph-Samuel Farinet (1845-1880) is a smuggler and counterfeiter. He is mainly known in the canton of Valais (Switzerland), where some have sought to make him a local defender of freedom and an embodiment of resistance to authority, he is sometimes called the "Robin Hood of the Alps" or the "Swiss Robin Hood".
P.S You can see in the background my brave and smiling friend @Dayana . Note that there is a dove of peace hanging next to her, from about 33 m2, and the light descends from the sky on her ... 😘
Iwona- shadoke It is a wonderful sight, a beautiful pigeon, an unusual light. I also want it like that! :)
