Most diffinately NOT a Black Duck

So, this time of year I get more and more of my seasonal birds back. Today, while coming back from town I saw a pair of maybe Black Ducks (they kinda-sorta look like female Mallards). I hadn't planned on doing any birding or photography so my kit was left safely at the office.

Back on site, I grabbed my long lens and headed back out to get my FOY for the ducks... except they had taken off. :(

This Blue Jay, however, was very keen on the seeds by the feeder... but was of no help with locating the ducks.
