First time at the beach!

Today was the first day that I took my dog, Chloe, to the beach, and as you can see she really loved it!

After deciding to join tookapic and start the 365 challenge I wondered what would be a good photo to get me started. So, the first day on tookapic gets first time on the beach.

I had been given a Nikon D3100 as a gift last Christmas but haven't done anything with it. Seeing this site and feeling disgruntled with other picture sites I felt this was a great opportunity to challenge myself to get the camera out and start looking for that 1 picture that can capture the best moment from the day.

Looking forward to learing how to use my camera off of Auto mode and sharing moments each day.
