tigg Not seeing it in the real I find it hard to see this as a piece of art. What is the stainless steel thing that looks like a litter bin - a washbasin? the prisoners toilet? But the photo is good as it is making me think and asks questions. Just not sure I like the art.

jazzie It actually is a litter bin put there probably by a worker of the building department who did not know that he was installing it inside a piece of art ;-)
The art piece is very conceptual and I think it's a pity that there is no information to be found on it about what it is. I actually walked by it several times and did not realize what it was (probably some badly designed brutalist seating). I found it out only because of a Kunst Stadt Bern walk.
The artist made a second art piece at the prison it's referring to.
