Young Grey Heron

The young Heron was waiting for me on the grass this morning. She came right over and I started to feed her. There was a lot of decaying leaves at the area she was eating from and she was having to separate the fish from the leaves which was obviously annoying her. After a couple of bits of fish she wandered over to the path. I followed her and she crossed the path and was clearly looking for a place with no leaves. She would walk a bit and then turn round to see that I was following. She eventually found a point where there were no trees and stopped there to finish her food. When she was done she took off up the loch.
