jazzie Thank you for describing your impression of my pic, it is very nice to know how others see my pictures, and I like how you integrate the sound of the instrument into your picture!
tigg Love it - made me realise how I miss orchestral playing. Do I see your saxophone reflected too, sitting on the floor in its open case?
jazzie Ha! You're right! I didn't even notice it! Do you play an instrument too?
tigg French Horn. Was in schools orchestras then local amateur orchestra but gave up when I married - so involved for about 20 years. I kept my singing on though.
jazzie Oh wow. What a pity you gave up! But it's never too late to restart! 😊
Dziadek Au Hi #jazzie, Your photo from the orchestra rehearsal has a very warm atmosphere, concrete walls, everyday clothes. The sound from the trumpet (I don't know what it's called) indicates the two central figures, the conductor and the flutist. Music not in the symphony hall, but in the back room, played "for yourself" out of love for music. This is how I perceive this photo. There is a third important character in this scene. This is your photographic figure, reflected in the trunk. Thank you.
