tigg Flash photography - a skill I have not got. I find the blond strand of hair running diagonally and parallel to her fingers slightly distracting from the main subject. As you asked.
Didi you try a tight square crop to have the two items of jewellery and the ear filling the frame? Who knows.

jazzie True about the blond strand of hair. looks like one finger more when you're not closely looking.
The frame was bigger initially, showing some more of the girl's face and a golden glossy spot further up on her head.
