Switzerland's tallest Christmas 'tree'

The antenna on mount Bantiger was built 70 years ago because of the football world championships. The little mountain stood in the direct way that was needed to send the international signal from the Wankdorfstadion to the world, so they built a TV tower on its top. To celebrate the tower's 70th birthday, the antenna is illuminated like a Christmas tree (or a rocket?) until the beginning of january. #christmas #antenna #clouds #fog
